The Rev. J.J. Quinn, S.J. Achievement Award for Demonstration of Excellence in English Studies Scholarship Application 2022-2023

Eligibility

The Rev. J.J. Quinn, S.J. Achievement Award was established by the late Fredrick A. Hensley, Jr., M.D. ’75 to be awarded to a University graduating senior majoring in any discipline and accepted at an accredited U.S. Medical School. This award is a merit based award and the award will be made on Class Night.

Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

Submit two (2) letters of recommendation (at least one must be from someone from the English Faculty Department).
Submit a written essay to the Director of Medical School Placement. The essay should explain the reasons for and qualifications in applying for this award and must be typed 800 to 1000 words double spaced.
Submit a copy of the acceptance letter from the U.S. Medical School at which you intend to enroll.
Submit this application by Friday April 22, 2022
